Kindergarten - Benedict, Brittany

About Me:

Hello! My name is Brittany Benedict. I grew up in Northwest Indiana, and I live in Palo Alto now. I received my bachelor’s degree and my teaching credential at Indiana University . This is my 1st year teaching at Garfield Community School and my 2nd year teaching Kindergarten. I have chosen to be part of the GCS because before this I was a preschool teacher when I moved to California, and I missed being in a Kindergarten classroom, so I am thrilled to be teaching at Garfield! In our classroom, I plan on making an inclusive, enjoyable, and welcoming environment for my students. I also hope to support students in opening up and using their words because it is important for all students to speak their mind, so I can help support them. 

I believe that all students should respect one another and I will show them respect as well. Thank you for wanting to learn more about me.
