3rd grade - Gray, Kim
|
About Me: Hello! My name is Kim Gray. I grew up in Nashville, Tennessee, and I live in Menlo Park. I majored in psychology at Middle Tennessee State University and earned my teaching credential at TEACH NOW, based in Washington, D.C. This is my 2nd year teaching 3rd grade at Garfield Community School, having previously taught Kindergarten for two years. I also taught first grade at Fair Oaks Community school. I did my student teaching with 4th graders at Overseas Family School in Singapore. I have chosen to be part of the GCS because I enjoy the diversity and bilingual education of our community. In our classroom, I want to inspire your children with a love of reading. A book can take you on a journey and help you dream of bigger and better things in the world. I also hope to support students in being global citizens because empathy makes us all better, stronger people. I believe that all students can thrive and I will encourage our students to be their best. Thank you for all your support in our community.
